Seynabou DIA and Global Mind Consulting are delighted and honored to join Valentine Umansky, curator at the Tate Modern, Julie Rouzaud, innovation consultant for young entrepreneurs, Meriem Berrada, Artistic Director of the Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (MACAAL) and creator of artistic and educational programs, and Claire Solery, cultural engineer, to accompany young art professionals in Africa incubated during the MACAAL Bootcamp 2021.
Imagined and launched in 2020 by MACAAL and the cultural engineering agency A Million Dots, MACAAL Bootcamp aims to incubate projects of emerging African professionals in the contemporary art and visual arts sector. A strong and ambitious initiative, which aims to provide a response to the dynamism of the visual arts sector in Africa through an approach focused on impact.
