2022, already?
After a difficult year in 2020, we felt a deep desire to take action, to create, to make up for a time we considered lost. Everything went very fast, proof is that to the question “How are you doing?“, we actually usually answered “Everything is fine, there is a lot on our plates“, followed by “But we won’t complain!“.
Which is true. We are extremely grateful for everything that this year has brought us, especially since 2021 has marked our 10th anniversary. Ten years of accompanying the actors of the continent’s transformation, whether economic, cultural, political or social. Ten years of promoting and celebrating African talents – yours! Ten years of helping you overcoming your most ambitious challenges. Ten years of believing in the influence of an African expertise for the world, of decision-makers that we see taking action every day, with passion and courage, all driven by the same desire to change the narrative of our continent.
We are determined to continue changing this narrative alongside you. But this year, far from wanting to “run around”, we want to take our time. That time that we thought was lost in 2020 and that we finally took for granted in 2021, and that we should really appreciate now more than ever.
We hope that 2022 will be a year filled with exciting projects, opportunities, meetings but mostly a year filled with time for you and your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you again and to continuing to value our AfroChampions, more determined than ever to make things happen.
